Film: Cervesa calenta a la Vallcarca valenta – Warmes Bier im mutigen Vallcarca (Sprache: katalanisch mit engl. UT)
ist ein Dokumentarfilm über das Treffen, das wir im Barceloner Stadtteil Vallcarca organisiert haben, um des zehnten Todestages von Uri Caballero zu gedenken.
Uri war Musiker und eine prominente Figur in der Underground-Szene Barcelonas sowie ein unermüdlicher Aktivist in libertären Kreisen.
Sein Leben (und sein Tod) haben bei vielen Menschen tiefe Spuren hinterlassen.
Der Dokumentarfilm wurde von Lluís Huedo mit Unterstützung von Hara Kraan bei der Produktion zusammengestellt.
Er zeigt Live-Auftritte von einem Dutzend Bands sowie Interviews mit Organisator*innen und Teilnehmer*innen und ist auch dann spannend, wenn man mit der Veranstaltung selbst nicht vertraut ist.
Der Film geht darüber hinaus – er behandelt Themen wie Selbstorganisation, direkte Aktion, Barcelonas Underground-Szene, Gegenkultur, Erinnerung nach dem Tod und Freundschaft.
Hara Kraan wird anwesend sein.

Film: Cervesa calenta a la Vallcarca valenta – Warm beer in the spirited Vallcarca (Catalonia 2025, language: Catalan with engl. subs)
is a documentary about the gathering we organized in a Barcelona neighbourhood called Vallcarca to commemorate the tenth anniversary of Uri Caballero’s passing.
Uri was a musician and a prominent figure in Barcelona’s underground scene, as well as a tireless activist within libertarian circles.
His life (and death) left a very deep mark on many people.
It’s a documentary put together by Lluís Huedo, with Hara Kraan’s support in production.
It features live performances by a dozen bands, interviews with organizers and participants, and it’s engaging even if you’re not familiar with the event itself.
The film goes beyond that —it touches on themes such as self-organization, direct action, Barcelona’s underground scene, being countercultural, memory after death and friendship.
Hara Kraan will be there.
