Wir wollen gemeinsam das Release der Ausgabe „Abolitionismus – Impulse aus der Praxis“ feiern und laden euch dazu ein 💐
Während Repression und Polizeigewalt an und vor den Grenzen der EU, auf der Straße und in unseren Communities zunimmt, bleibt manchmal kaum genug Luft um über Alternativen zu Knast, Überwachung und Isolation nachzudenken und ist gerade umso nötiger. Dabei zeigt der Blick in die Bewegungsgeschichte deutlich: die Abschaffung von auf Gewalt und Unterdrückung basierenden Institutionen und der Widerstand gegen staatliche Sicherheitsversprechen ist schon seit langer Zeit Bestandteil antirassistischer und internationalistischer Bewegungen, auch in Deutschland.
Im Rahmen einer Anfrage von CILIP für eine Gastredaktion der „Zeitschrift für Bürgerrechte & Polizei“, ist ein Heft entstanden, in dem wir mit Genoss:innen über abolitionistische Praktiken ins Gespräch kommen und Autor:innen und Gruppen schreiben, wie sie ihre politische Praxis in abolitionistischen Kämpfen verorten. Ein Heft mit vielen empowernden, starken Gedanken.
Mit dabei sind unter anderem Migrantifa Berlin, Women in Exile, Criminals for Freedom, Eve M. & Sophia D., Cenî – Kurdisches Frauenbüro für Frieden, Ma’ayan Ashash & Danna Marshall, die Kampagne für Opfer rassistischer Polizeigewalt (KOP) Berlin und ein Gespräch mit Klaus Jünschke, Udo Sierck, Cuso Ehrich und Andrea Brock. Danke für Eure großartige Arbeit und euren langen Atem! Danke CILIP für die Möglichkeit und Unterstützung!
Wir freuen uns auf einen offenen und solidarischen Round-Table-Austausch über die Texte, über Alternativen zu staatlicher Repression, Faschismus und Abschottung, eure Träume und Utopien und natürlich eine druckfrische Ausgabe des Heftes!
Außerdem gibts unterschiedliches Infomaterial, Bücher und Soli-Merch 📚👕
Die Räumlichkeiten sind ebenerdig und barrierearm.

We want to celebrate the release of the issue „Abolitionism – Impulses from Practice“ together and invite you to join us 💐
While repression and police violence at and in front of the EU’s borders, on the streets and in our communities are on the rise, there is sometimes barely enough time to think about alternatives to prison, surveillance and isolation, which is all the more necessary. A look at the history of the movement clearly shows that the abolition of institutions based on violence and oppression and resistance to state promises of security have been part of anti-racist and internationalist movements for a long time, including in Germany.
As part of a request from CILIP for a guest editorial of the „Zeitschrift für Bürgerrechte & Polizei“, we have produced an issue in which we talk to comrades about abolitionist practices and authors and groups write about how they locate their political practice in abolitionist struggles. A magazine with many empowering, strong thoughts.
In the issue, among others: Migrantifa Berlin, Women in Exile, Criminals for Freedom, Eve M. &Sophia D., Cenî – Kurdish Women’s Office for Peace, Ma’ayan Ashash & Danna Marshall, the Campaign for Victims of Racist Police Violence (KOP) Berlin and a discussion with Klaus Jünschke, Udo Sierck, Cuso Ehrich and Andrea Brock.
