Wir laden euch zum Gedenken an die antifaschistische Widerstandskämpferin Frieda Seidlitz ein.
Sie war während der NS-Zeit aktives Mitglied in der Roten Hilfe und verhalf Menschen zur Flucht. Am 27. Mai 1936 kam Frieda mit 28 Jahren um – Todesursache unklar.
Ihrer mutigen Geschichte zu erinnern, ist unsere Aufgabe!
Im Anschluss an das Gedenken werden wir noch zu ihrem Gedenkstein auf dem Friedhof Roelckestraße spazieren. Der Weg ist barrierearm und dauert etwa 20 Minuten zu Fuß.

89th anniversary of the death of the Weißensee anti-fascist Frieda Seidlitz

We invite you to commemorate the anti-fascist resistance fighter Frieda Seidlitz.
She was an active member of Red Aid during the Nazi era and helped people to escape. Frieda died on 27 May 1936 at the age of 28 – cause of death unclear.
It is our duty to remember her courageous story!
After the commemoration, we will walk to her memorial stone at the Roelckestraße cemetery. The route is accessible and takes about 20 minutes on foot.
