In den vergangenen Wochen haben wir hierzulande einen weiteren Tiefpunkt an rassistischer Abschottungspolitik erlebt. Die Folgen dieses Rechtsrucks sind an den EU-Außengrenzen längst traurige Realität.
Besonders im Grenzgebiet zwischen Belarus und Polen spitzt sich die Lage dramatisch zu: Allein zwischen Mai und August 2023 verzeichneten Hilfsorganisationen mehr als 3300 Pushbacks, oft unter grausamer Gewaltausübung.
Wir laden euch ein zu unserer Infoveranstaltung mit Marek Jakubowski, der über die aktuelle Situation in Polen und die Rolle von Frontex berichtet. Die Veranstaltung findet auf Deutsch statt.
Außerdem wird es eine Küfa geben, die Spenden für die Border-Support Strukturen vom Bez-Collective sammelt.

In recent weeks, we have experienced another low point in racist isolationist policies in this country. The consequences of this shift to the right have long been a sad reality at the EU’s external borders.
Especially in the border area between Belarus and Poland, the situation is worsening dramatically: between May and August 2023 alone, aid organisations recorded more than 3,300 pushbacks, often involving cruel violence.
We invite you to our information event with Marek Jakubowski, who will report on the current situation in Poland and the role of Frontex. The event will be held in German.
There will also be a Küfa to collect donations for the border support structures of the Bez-Collective.
