🚩🚩🚩 Konzert zum Tag der Befreiung vom Faschismus mit Liedern und Texten aus der internationalen Arbeiterbewegung 🚩🚩🚩
„Heut weiß ich ganz genau, warum sie das getan“, schreibt Hans Drach 1935 in seinem Lied „Mein Vater wird gesucht“.
Er schildert aus der Perspektive eines Kindes, wie ihm die Faschisten den Vater nahmen.
Rückblickend weiß er, warum er diese Grausamkeit erleben musste:
Sein Vater war Kommunist.
In Gedenken an den verlorenen Vater verspricht der Sohn: „Wir werden doch vollenden, was er nicht konnt‘ beenden.“

Das Duo spielt vor allem griechische Musik mit Gitarre und Bouzouki.
Zum 9. Mai bringen sie einige Partisanenlieder aus dem Zweiten Weltkrieg mit, die vom Kampf gegen die faschistische Besatzung erzählen.
Außerdem spielen sie vertonte Gedichte – unter anderem von Jannis Ritsos, Iakovos Kabanellis und Kostas Varnalis.
Einige der Kompositionen sind von Mikis Theodorakis, der selbst am antifaschistischen Widerstand beteiligt war und später zum bekanntesten griechischen Komponisten wurde.
Kulturkollektiv Industriepoesie
Die Musiker spielen Lieder aus über hundert Jahren Arbeiterbewegung – modern interpretiert und in wechselnder Besetzung.
„Industrie“ symbolisiert dabei den Bezug zur Arbeit unserer Klasse, die täglich den Reichtum schafft, den sich wenige Kapitalisten aneignen.
Die Industrie ist der Ort, an dem die ganze Absurdität des Kapitalismus sichtbar wird.
Die „Poesie“ nutzt das Kulturkollektiv, um von unserer Klasse und ihren Leiden unter dem Kapitalismus zu erzählen – und um zu erzählen, wie die Welt sein sollte.

🚩🚩🚩 Concert to mark Liberation Day from Fascism, featuring songs and texts from the international labour movement 🚩🚩🚩
“Now I know exactly why they did it,” writes Hans Drach in his 1935 song “Mein Vater wird gesucht” (My Father Is Wanted).
He describes, from a child’s perspective, how the fascists took his father away from him.
Looking back, he knows why he had to endure this cruelty:
His father was a communist.
In memory of his lost father, the son promises: “We will complete what he could not finish.”

The duo mainly plays Greek music on guitar and bouzouki.
For 9 May, they are bringing along some partisan songs from the Second World War that tell of the struggle against the fascist occupation.
They also perform poems set to music – including works by Yannis Ritsos, Iakovos Kabanellis and Kostas Varnalis.
Some of the compositions are by Mikis Theodorakis, who was himself involved in the anti-fascist resistance and later became Greece’s most famous composer.

‘Industrie’ symbolises the connection to the labour of our class, which creates the wealth every day that a few capitalists appropriate for themselves.
Industry is the place where the full absurdity of capitalism becomes visible.
The cultural collective uses “poetry” to tell the story of our class and its suffering under capitalism – and to describe how the world should be.
