Es ist Zeit, wieder aufzutauchen, Berlin!
Seit dem sogenannten „Waffenstillstand“ ist kaum ein Tag ohne Gewalt in Gaza und im Westjordanland vergangen – während Deutschland und die USA Israel weiterhin bei ihrem Siedlerkolonialismus unterstützen.
Die Welt wird immer düsterer – es ist also an der Zeit, wieder zusammenzukommen.
Das Palinale Film Festival @palinale.festival findet parallel zur Berlinale statt und ist eine Reaktion auf die anhaltende Unterdrückung der Solidarität mit Palästina in der deutschen Filmindustrie und Populärkultur.
Am Freitag, dem 20. Februar, starten wir unsere erste Zusammenarbeit überhaupt! Wir sind stolz darauf, bekannt zu geben, dass wir mit Music4Palestine zusammenarbeiten werden! 🎶
Da es unser gemeinsames Ziel ist, palästinensischen Stimmen, antikolonialen Geschichten und Solidarität über Bewegungen und Regionen hinweg eine Bühne zu geben, waren wir uns sicher, dass sie genau zu uns passen würden.
Music4Palestine ist bekannt für seine zahlreichen Spendenaktionen, bei denen Musik, Poetry Slams und Tanzaufführungen Menschen zusammenbrachten.
Dieses Mal werden wir die Spenden gemeinsam für Lebensmittelprojekte in Gaza für Ramadan und Iftar sowie zur Unterstützung einer Familie im Westjordanland verwenden, deren gesamte Schafherde von Siedlern getötet wurde.

It’s time to show up again, Berlin! Barely a day has passed without violence in Gaza & The West Bank since the so-called ‘ceasefire’ – while Germany and the US continue to assist Israel in their settler colonial scheme.
The world is getting darker – so it’s time to come together again.
Palinale Film Festival @palinale.festival runs parallel to the Berlinale as a response to the ongoing repression of Palestine solidarity in German film industry and popular culture.
On Friday 20th of February, we are setting up our first collaboration ever!! We’re proud to announce that we’ll be collaborating with Music4Palestine! 🎶
As our shared goal is to give Palestinian voices, anti-colonial stories, and solidarity across movements and regions a stage. We were sure they would fit just right.
Music4Palestine is famously known for their numerous fundraising events in which music, poetry slams, and dance performances brought people together.
This time, we’ll send the funds together towards food projects in Gaza for Ramadan and Iftar; and to support a family in the West Bank who had all of their sheep murdered by settlers.
