Gemeinsam gegen antimuslimischen Rassismus!
Samstag 28. Juni | 12 – 14 Uhr | Oranienplatz, am Mahnmal für die Opfer von Rassismus und Polizeigewalt
2024 gab es laut @claim_allianz 3.080 antimuslimische Übergriffe und Diskriminierungen in Deutschland. Das sind acht pro Tag und ein Anstieg um 60% im Vergleich zum Vorjahr.
Und es werden nicht nur mehr Taten begangen, sie werden auch brutaler, CLAIM dokumentierte für das Jahr 2024 insgesamt 198 antimuslimisch motivierte Körperverletzungen und zwei Tötungsdelikte.
Antimuslimischer Rassismus ist nicht nur eine konkrete Gefahr für Musliminnen und Muslime, sondern bietet auch Anknüpfungspunkte für Nazis.
Die NPD (heute Die Heimat) bezeichnete bereits 2010 die „Moslem-Feindschaft und Islam-Kritik als politischen Türöffner“ und empfahl Muslime als „Projektionsfläche für all das anzubieten, was den Durchschnittsdeutschen an Ausländern stört.“
Auch die AfD nahm daraufhin das „Feindbild Islam“ in ihr Grundsatzprogramm auf. Beatrix von Storch schrieb dazu, „dass der Islam das brisanteste Thema des Programms überhaupt“ und für die „Außenkommunikation“ am besten geeignet sei.

According to @claim_allianz, there were 3,080 anti-Muslim attacks and incidents of discrimination in Germany in 2024. That is eight per day and an increase of 60% compared to the previous year.
And not only are more crimes being committed, they are also becoming more brutal. CLAIM documented a total of 198 anti-Muslim assaults and two homicides in 2024.
Anti-Muslim racism is not only a concrete danger to Muslims, but also provides a platform for Nazis.
As early as 2010, the NPD (now Die Heimat) described ‘hostility towards Muslims and criticism of Islam as a political door opener’ and recommended offering Muslims as ‘a projection screen for everything that bothers the average German about foreigners.’
The AfD also subsequently included the ‘enemy image of Islam’ in its manifesto. Beatrix von Storch wrote that ‘Islam is the most explosive topic in the manifesto’ and is best suited for ‘external communication.’
