Israel und die USA bombardieren den Iran. Dies ist Teil des Versuchs mit aller Gewalt die schwindende Macht der USA in der Welt wiederherzustellen und den Einfluss Israels im Nahen und Mittleren Osten auszubauen.
Dieser Angriff steht in einer Reihe mit dem Massenmord an den Palästinenser*innen in Gaza, der Besatzung der palästinensischen Gebiete, den Angriffen Israels auf den Libanon, Katar und Syrien, die Entführung des venezolanischen Präsidenten Maduro, der Blockade gegen Kuba und den Drohungen Trumps gegen Grönland und den Rest der Welt.
Es geht nicht um angebliche iranische Atomwaffen, für deren Herstellung es keine Beweise gibt, und es geht auch nicht um den Sturz einer brutalen Diktatur, die einen solchen zweifellos verdient hätte.
Es geht um geostrategische und wirtschaftliche Interessen.
Wäre das anders, würden die USA auch Saudi-Arabien oder Pakistan angreifen.
Trump will einen Regimewechsel im Iran nicht für das iranische Volk, sondern für die Interessen des US-Kapitalismus. Dabei geht er über Leichen.
Es ist Sache des iranischen Volks, die theokratische Diktatur zu stürzen. Dazu sollten die dort seit Jahren stattfindenden Proteste und die unabhängigen Gewerkschaften, Frauen- und Jugendbewegungen unterstützt werden.
Nur so besteht die Chance, die Diktatur durch eine Regierung im Interesse der Bevölkerung zu ersetzen.
Auf westliche kapitalistische Staaten ist dabei kein Verlass. Diese Erfahrung mussten gerade erst die Kurdinnen und Kurden machen, die in Rojava (Nordsyrien) von den USA einmal mehr missbraucht und im Stich gelassen wurden.
Wir rufen auf zu Protesten gegen den Angriff auf den Iran und fordern:
● Stoppt die Bomben – sofortige Einstellung der Kriegshandlungen gegen den Iran!
● Schluss mit Waffenlieferungen und politischer Unterstützung für den Staat Israel durch die Bundesregierung!
● Für Proteste und Streiks weltweit gegen den Krieg der USA und Israels und zur Unterstützung der Massenbewegung im Iran gegen die Diktatur!

Israel and the USA are bombing Iran. This is part of an attempt to use force to restore the dwindling power of the USA in the world and to expand Israel’s influence in the Middle East.
This attack is in line with the mass murder of Palestinians in Gaza, the occupation of Palestinian territories, Israel’s attacks on Lebanon, Qatar and Syria, the kidnapping of Venezuelan President Maduro, the blockade against Cuba and Trump’s threats against Greenland and the rest of the world.
This is not about alleged Iranian nuclear weapons, for which there is no evidence, nor is it about the overthrow of a brutal dictatorship, which undoubtedly deserves it.
It is about geostrategic and economic interests.
If this were not the case, the US would also attack Saudi Arabia or Pakistan.
Trump wants regime change in Iran not for the Iranian people, but for the interests of US capitalism. He will stop at nothing to achieve this.
It is up to the Iranian people to overthrow the theocratic dictatorship. To this end, the protests that have been taking place there for years and the independent trade unions, women’s and youth movements should be supported.
Only in this way is there a chance of replacing the dictatorship with a government that acts in the interests of the population.
Western capitalist states cannot be relied upon in this regard. The Kurds in Rojava (northern Syria) have just had to learn this lesson the hard way, having once again been abused and abandoned by the US.
We call for protests against the attack on Iran and demand:
● Stop the bombs – immediate cessation of hostilities against Iran!
● An end to arms deliveries and political support for the state of Israel by the British government!
● Worldwide protests and strikes against the war by the US and Israel and in support of the mass movement in Iran against the dictatorship!
