Auf Grund der Einsparungen im sozialen Bereich geraten wir zunehmend in Situationen, in denen wir die Standards Sozialer Arbeit nicht einhalten können oder die Strukturen das ohnehin nicht zulassen. Das zeigt sich beispielsweise in Massenunterkünften für Geflüchtete, aber auch flächendeckend in anderen Bereichen Sozialer Arbeit.
Diese Missstände in Einrichtungen von innen heraus als Mitarbeitende öffentlich zu machen, nennt sich whistleblowing. Darüber möchten wir im nächsten offenen Treff mit unserem Gast Benedikt Hopmann, Anwalt für Arbeitsrecht, sprechen und dabei auch auf mögliche rechtliche Konsequenzen und Herausforderungen eingehen.
Anschließend wollen wir bezogen auf dieses Thema in den kollegialen Austausch treten. Mit welchen Problemen habt ihr in euren Beschäftigungsverhältnissen zu tun? Was nervt euch und wo drückt der Schuh? Bringt gerne eure Themen und Anliegen mit ein!
Wir wollen uns gegenseitig unterstützen und beraten, um gestärkt in unseren betrieblichen Alltag zu gehen.
Der Solidaritätstreff Soziale Arbeit in Neukölln findet jeden zweiten Dienstag im Monat um 19:30 Uhr im Kiezladen in der Sonnenallee 154 statt. Der Kiezladen ist über eine Rampe betret- und fahrbar und hat eine rollstuhl-gerechte Toilette.
Prekäre Beschäftigungsverhältnisse, eine immer höhere Arbeitsbelastung und ein geringer Organisierungsgrad zeichnen die Soziale Arbeit aus. Wir wollen der Vereinzelung und Passivität etwas entgegensetzen und einen Raum schaffen, in dem Beschäftigte der Sozialen Arbeit sich vernetzen, organisieren und gemeinsam für bessere Arbeitsbedingungen kämpfen.
Der Solitreff richtet sich an Sozialarbeiter*innen, Pädagog*innen, Erzieher*innen, Studierende, Auszubildende und alle in der Sozialen Arbeit Tätigen, die Lust haben sich auszutauschen, zu vernetzen und gemeinsam aktiv zu werden.

Due to cutbacks in the social sector, we are increasingly finding ourselves in situations in which we cannot comply with the standards of social work or the structures do not allow it anyway. This can be seen, for example, in mass accommodation centres for refugees, but also across the board in other areas of social work.
Publicising these abuses in facilities from the inside as employees is called whistleblowing. We would like to talk about this in the next open meeting with our guest Benedikt Hopmann, a lawyer for labour law, and also discuss possible legal consequences and challenges.
We will then enter into a dialogue with colleagues on this topic. What problems do you have to deal with in your employment relationships? What annoys you and where does the shoe pinch? Feel free to bring in your topics and concerns!
We want to support and advise each other so that we can go into our everyday working lives stronger.
The Social Work Solidarity Meeting in Neukölln takes place every second Tuesday of the month at 19:30 pm in the neighbourhood shop at Sonnenallee 154. The neighbourhood shop is accessible via a ramp and has a wheelchair-accessible toilet.
Social work is characterised by precarious employment conditions, an ever-increasing workload and a low level of organisation. We want to counteract isolation and passivity and create a space in which social workers can network, organise and fight together for better working conditions.
The Solitreff is aimed at social workers, teachers, educators, students, trainees and all those working in social work who want to exchange ideas, network and become active together.
