Als ISKS sind wir auch Teil von der Kampagne „Kiez ohne Kontrollzone“ (Koko).
🔥Kommt am 31. Mai zwischen 13:00 – 17:00 bei unserem Kieztreffen am Leopoldplatz vorbei! 🔥
Neben ein paar Redebeiträgen gibt es Infostände, Angebot für Kinder und ein Quiz, an dem ihr teilnehmen könnt.
In Kooperation mit @kiosk.of.solidarity 💜
Wir beschäftigen uns damit, wie Berlin gerade das Budget für die Polizei erhöht, während gleichzeitig Sozialleistungen in unseren Stadtvierteln radikal gekürzt werden.
Orte für Wohnungslose und Drogennutzende, sowie Angebote für Kinder- und Jugendliche werden kaputt gespart.
Dafür wird Geld ausgegeben für so genannte „Waffenverbotszonen“ wie sie am Leo jetzt besteht – also viel mehr Polizei.
Statt Sicherheit zu schaffen, bringen sie vor allem zusätzliche Probleme.
Wir, und viele andere Menschen in der Stadt arbeiten an Ideen, wie wir unser Kieze wirklich sicherer und gerecht machen können.

As ISKS, we are also part of the “Neighbourhood without a Control Zone” (Koko) campaign.
🔥Come along to our neighbourhood meet-up at Leopoldplatz on 31 May between 13:00 and 17:00! 🔥
As well as a few speeches, there will be information stands, activities for children and a quiz you can take part in.

We’re looking at how Berlin is currently increasing the police budget whilst, at the same time, social services in our neighbourhoods are being radically cut.
Shelters for the homeless and drug users, as well as services for children and young people, are being cut to the bone.
Instead, money is being spent on so-called ‘weapon-free zones’ like the one now in place at Leo – meaning far more police.
Rather than creating safety, they mainly cause additional problems.
We, and many other people in the city, are working on ideas for how we can make our neighbourhoods truly safer and fairer.
