Am Sonntag, den 08.09.2024, feiern wir ab 14:00 Uhr den Abschluss unseres „Starke Denkmäler“ Projektes, das uns die letzten 2 Jahre begleitet hat, im SİNEMA TRANSTOPIA @sinematranstopia als Teil von Common Visions.
Wir werden unsere Projektergebnisse vorstellen, es wird eine Podiumsdiskussion geben und anschließend wird der Film „Shusenjo“ gezeigt.

Bios der Beteiligten:
Ibou Coulibaly Diop ist Literaturwissenschaftler und Kurator. Derzeit erarbeitet er für den Berliner Senat ein Erinnerungskonzept Kolonialismus und ist gemeinsam mit Lorraine Bluche für die Stiftung Berliner Stadtmuseum in der Kompetenzstelle Dekolonisierung tätig.
Saraya Gomis ist Pädagogin und politische Beamtin. Sie hatte bis April 2023 das Amt der Staatssekretärin für Vielfalt und Antidiskriminierung bei der Berliner Senatsverwaltung für Justiz, Vielfalt und Antidiskriminierung inne.
Gülsah Stapel studierte Stadt- und Regionalplanung an der TU Berlin mit einem Schwerpunkt auf Denkmalpflege. Seit 2020 arbeitet sie als Kuratorin für Outreach für die Stiftung Berliner Mauer. Soeben ist ihre Dissertation Recht auf Erbe in der Migrationgsgesellschaft. Eine Studie an Erinnerungsorten türkeistämmiger Berliner:innen erschienen.
Nataly Jung-Hwa Han ist Vorstandsvorsitzende vom Korea Verband e.V. und koordinierte in dieser Rolle seit 2012 zahlreiche Veranstaltungen, Projekte und Ausstellungen. Sie studierte Koreanistik, Kunstgeschichte und Japanologie in Tübingen und Berlin. Seit 2009 leitet sie die AG „Trostfrauen“ im Korea Verband. Sie war maßgeblich an der Errichtung der Friedensstatue in Berlin Moabit beteiligt und gründete das Museum der Trostfrauen.
(Sara) Sun Hee Martischius ist auf Coaching, Erwachsenenbildung, Empowerment und Mediation spezialisiert. Sie arbeitet mit einem systemischen Ansatz, um diskriminierungssensible Strukturen zu fördern und unterstützt Menschen dabei, Rassismus- und Diskriminierungserfahrungen zu reflektieren.

On Sunday, 8 September 2024, we will celebrate the conclusion of our ‘Strong Monuments’ project, which has accompanied us for the last 2 years, at SİNEMA TRANSTOPIA @sinematranstopia as part of Common Visions.
We will present our project results, there will be a panel discussion and afterwards the film ‘Shusenjo’ will be shown.

Bios of the participants:
Ibou Coulibaly Diop is a literary scholar and curator. He is currently developing a remembrance concept for colonialism for the Berlin Senate and is working together with Lorraine Bluche for the Berlin City Museum Foundation in the Decolonisation Competence Centre.
Saraya Gomis is an educator and political official. She held the position of State Secretary for Diversity and Anti-Discrimination at the Berlin Senate Department for Justice, Diversity and Anti-Discrimination until April 2023.
Gülsah Stapel studied urban and regional planning at TU Berlin, specialising in heritage conservation. She has been working as a curator for outreach for the Berlin Wall Foundation since 2020. Her dissertation Recht auf Erbe in der Migrationgsgesellschaft. A study of places of remembrance of Berliners of Turkish origin has just been published.
Nataly Jung-Hwa Han is Chairwoman of the Board of the Korea Verband e.V. and has coordinated numerous events, projects and exhibitions in this role since 2012. She studied Korean studies, art history and Japanese studies in Tübingen and Berlin. Since 2009, she has headed the Korea Association’s ‘Comfort Women’ working group. She was instrumental in the erection of the peace statue in Berlin Moabit and founded the Museum of Comfort Women.
(Sara) Sun Hee Martischius specialises in coaching, adult education, empowerment and mediation. She works with a systemic approach to promote discrimination-sensitive structures and supports people in reflecting on their experiences of racism and discrimination.
