Beim Jugendantifa Tresen am 6.2. laden wir euch ein, gemeinsam den Vortrag „Blackbox Palantir“ vom Chaos Communications Congress zu schauen und zu besprechen.
Was Ist Palantir?
Ein Staat der vorrausberechnet was du Morgen tust und detaillierte Profile über seine Bürger*innen erstellt. Was wie ein 0815 Dystopie- Plot klingt, macht Palantir zur Realität.
Die Software des Unternehmens ist u.a. darauf spezialisiert Datenbanken von Polizei und Militär auszuwerten und Verknüpfungen zu suchen. Dabei erstellt sie Profile über alle Beteiligten – Verdachtsunabhängig.
DerVortrag
Der Vortrag von Constanze Kurz und Franziska Görlitz klärt über die Tragweite solcher Programme auf. Vor allem aus juristischer Perspektive wird die Einführung in Deutschland beleuchtet und kritisiert.
Wir laden euch ein mit uns diesen Vortrag mit der Länge von etwa einer Stunde anzuschauen und Diskutieren. Und auch zu überlegen in welcher Weise die ausweitung des Überwachungsstaats uns und unsere Kämpfe betrifft und was wir dagegen tun können.
Für Getränke ist natürlich auch gesorgt.

At the Youth Antifa Bar on 6 February, we invite you to join us in watching and discussing the Chaos Communications Congress presentation ‘Blackbox Palantir’.
What is Palantir?
A state that predicts what you will do tomorrow and creates detailed profiles of its citizens. What sounds like a run-of-the-mill dystopian plot is being made a reality by Palantir.
The company’s software specialises in evaluating police and military databases and searching for connections. In doing so, it creates profiles of all those involved – regardless of suspicion.
The lecture
The lecture by Constanze Kurz and Franziska Görlitz explains the implications of such programmes. The introduction in Germany is examined and criticised, particularly from a legal perspective.
We invite you to join us in watching and discussing this lecture, which lasts about an hour. We also invite you to consider how the expansion of the surveillance state affects us and our struggles, and what we can do about it.
