Im April hat das Kabinett das „Sicherheitspaket 2.0“ beschlossen, das viele neue Befugnisse für die Polizei erlauben soll:
unter anderem das Abgleichen von biometrischen Daten mit dem Internet sowie das automatisierte Suchen nach Identitäten.
Außerdem stehen in naher Zukunft eine Neuauflage der Vorratsdatenspeicherung, eine polizeiliche Superdatenbank und neue Kompetenzen für BND und Verfassungsschutz an.
Wir wollen euch informieren & gemeinsam diskutieren:
• Welche Befugnisse sollen eingeführt werden?
• Wie funktioniert die Technologie dahinter? (für Einsteiger*innen!)
• Was bedeutet das für uns und unseren politischen Protest?
• Wie und wann können wir dagegen agieren?
Auch wird es Infos zur geplanten Demonstration gegen die digitale Aufrüstung der Polizei am 13.06.2026 geben.
Die Veranstaltung ist kostenlos und findet mit Unterstützung der North East Antifa sowie der Roten Hilfe statt.
Zusätzlich gibts nen Büchertisch mit neuster Literatur zu den Themen Überwachung & Repression vom Buchladen Schwarzen Risse.

Information event on the “Security Package 2.0” and the digital upgrading of the police

In April, the cabinet approved the “Security Package 2.0”, which is intended to grant the police many new powers:
including the cross-referencing of biometric data with the internet and automated identity searches.
Furthermore, a new version of data retention, a police super-database and new powers for the BND and the Office for the Protection of the Constitution are on the horizon.
We want to inform you and discuss the following together:
• What powers are set to be introduced?
• How does the technology behind it work? (for beginners!)
• What does this mean for us and our political protest?
• How and when can we take action against this?
There will also be information on the planned demonstration against the digital arming of the police on 13 June 2026.
The event is free of charge and is taking place with the support of North East Antifa and Rote Hilfe.
There will also be a bookstall with the latest literature on surveillance and repression from the Schwarzen Risse bookshop.
