Es wird über das zentrale Gesetz für die Selbstbestimmung von TIN* Personen abgestimmt – ohne, dass dabei wichtige Kritikpunkte aus den TIN*-Communities und queeren Verbänden (z. B. dgti, BVT*, IM e.V., LSVD) berücksichtigt wurden! Deshalb zeigen wir am Freitag, wie wir Selbstbestimmung verstehen – und was wir von dem Gesetz halten.
Was bedeutet es materiell im Alltag? Was verbessert sich? Wo werden Personengruppen diskriminiert oder ganz ausgeschlossen?
Und zugleich werden wir an diesem Tag den Hasser*innen und reaktionären Stimmen keine Sendezeit überlassen! Denn TERFs mobilisieren auch. Bieten wir den Journalist*innen starke Foto- und Videomotive! Sei dabei.
Wir finden es wichtig, die breite gesellschaftliche Unterstützung für die Einführung eines Selbstbestimmungsgesetzes sichtbar zu machen – auch wenn der finale Gesetzesentwurf weit hinter den Erwartungen nach dem Eckpunktepapier und den Forderungen der Community zurückbleibt.
Trotz des wichtigen Schrittes sagen wir klar: Es bleibt viel zu tun für ein menschenwürdiges und diskriminierungsfreies Leben für alle.

SICHERHEIT
Es werden Ordner*innen vor Ort und mit Binden erkennbar sein – genauso wie wahrscheinlich ein Awareness-Team.
Auch TERFs haben laut Polizei vor dem Dt. Bundestag eine Kundgebung angemeldet, daher: Gebt aufeinander acht, lasst euch nicht provozieren, holt/gebt euch Unterstützung. Bringt Covid-Masken + Regenschirme mit zum Schutz gegen Kameras von TERFs

The central law for the self-determination of TIN* people is being voted on – without taking into account important points of criticism from the TIN* communities and queer associations (e.g. dgti, BVT*, IM e.V., LSVD)! That’s why on Friday we’ll be showing how we understand self-determination – and what we think of the law.
What does it mean materially in everyday life? What is improving? Where are groups of people discriminated against or completely excluded?
And at the same time, we will not give any airtime to the haters and reactionary voices on this day! Because TERFs also mobilise. Let’s offer the journalists strong photo and video motifs! Be there.
We think it is important to make the broad social support for the introduction of a self-determination law visible – even if the final draft law falls far short of the expectations set out in the key issues paper and the demands of the community.
Despite this important step, we clearly state that much remains to be done for a dignified and non-discriminatory life for all.
We want to be many – share the post and tag your friends and allies in Berlin!
LOCATION: South side of the meadow in front of the Bundestag (Platz der Republik) at the bus stop „Reichstag/Bundestag“ of bus line 100. Arrival also possible via S+U Brandenburger Tor.

SECURITY
There will be stewards on site and recognisable with armbands – as well as probably an awareness team.
According to the police, TERFs have also registered a rally in front of the Bundestag, so take care of each other, don’t let yourselves be provoked, get/give support. Bring Covid masks + umbrellas to protect against cameras from TERFs
