Am 13. und 14. Juni feiert die Bundespolizei ihr 75-jähriges Bestehen – mit Helikopter- und Boots-Shows, Materialausstellungen und einem großen öffentlichen Spektakel mitten in Babelsberg.
Unter dem Deckmantel eines „familienfreundlichen“ Events soll Staatsgewalt als normal, harmlos und gesellschaftlich notwendig inszeniert werden.
Doch diese Feier findet in einer Zeit zunehmender Aufrüstung, Militarisierung und imperialistischer Zuspitzung statt: Während Milliarden in Polizei, Militär und Grenzregime investiert werden, wird gleichzeitig bei
Bildung, Sozialem, Kultur und Jugendarbeit gekürzt.
Während migrantische Menschen entrechtet und politischer Widerstand kriminalisiert und überwacht werden, präsentiert sich dieselbe Institution als bürger*innennah und unverzichtbar.
Dieser Inszenierung wollen wir uns entgegenstellen.
Deshalb gehen wir am 13. Juni gemeinsam auf die Straße.

On 13 and 14 June, the Federal Police will be celebrating its 75th anniversary – with helicopter and boat displays, equipment exhibitions and a major public spectacle in the heart of Babelsberg.
Under the guise of a ‘family-friendly’ event, state power is to be portrayed as normal, harmless and socially necessary.
Yet this celebration is taking place at a time of increasing rearmament, militarisation and imperialist escalation: whilst billions are being invested in the police, the military and border regimes, at the same time
cuts are being made to education, social services, culture and youth work.
Whilst migrants are being disenfranchised and political resistance is being criminalised and monitored, the very same institution presents itself as close to the people and indispensable.
We want to stand up against this charade.
That is why we are taking to the streets together on 13 June.
