Dieses Jahr jährt sich zum zehnten Mal der Genozid des sogenannten
„Islamischen Staates“ gegen die Êzîd*innen im Jahr 2014.
Am 03. August, dem Jahrestag des Genozids möchten wir unsere Veranstaltungsreihe mit einer Demo beenden und an der Kundgebung von den Dachverband des Êzîdischen Frauenrats e.V. -SMJÊ und dem Zentralverband der Êzidischen Vereine e.V. -Nav-Yek gemeinsam mit euch teilnehmen.
Dieser Tag zielt darauf ab, das Bewusstsein für den Genozid und Femizid an den Êzîd*innen zu schärfen. Wir rufen dazu auf, die Stimmen zu hören und die Täter zur Rechenschaft zu ziehen. Denn nach wie vor sind die Täter auf freiem Fuß und mehr 2.700 Menschen werden noch vermisst. Der IS ist noch nicht vollends besiegt.
Gleichzeitig wird in Şengal der Versuch, eine demokratische, selbstverwaltete und im Kollektiv organisierte Gesellschaft, sowohl vom türkischen Staat, als auch vom irakischen, weiterhin angegriffen.
Und somit möchten wir mit euch die Stimme der Betroffenen des Genozids und ihren Widerstand teilen.
Wir müssen jetzt dafür sorgen, dass sich die Geschichte nicht wiederholt.
Wir rufen alle solidarischen Gruppen auf, sich an der Demo und der Kundgebung zu beteiligen!

This year marks the tenth anniversary of the genocide of the so-called
„Islamic State“ against the Ezidis in 2014.
On 3 August, the anniversary of the genocide, we would like to end our series of events with a demonstration and take part in the rally of the umbrella organisation of the Ezidi Women’s Council e.V. -SMJÊ and the Central Association of Ezidi Associations e.V. -Nav-Yek together with you.
This day aims to raise awareness of the genocide and femicide of Ezidi women. We call for the voices to be heard and for the perpetrators to be brought to justice. Because the perpetrators are still at large and more than 2,700 people are still missing. IS is not yet fully defeated.
At the same time, the attempt to establish a democratic, self-governing and collectively organised society in Şengal continues to be attacked by both the Turkish and Iraqi states.
And so we want to share with you the voice of those affected by the genocide and their resistance.
We must now ensure that history does not repeat itself.
We call on all solidarity groups to take part in the demonstration and rally!
