🌳 Demonstration nach Rekord-Hitzewelle: – für Sonntag (20. Juli, 14:00, Brandenburger Tor – Pariser Platz) ruft der BaumEntscheid @baumentscheid zusammen mit 20 weiteren Organisationen zur Hitzedemo auf.
In den letzten Wochen traf Berlin eine Hitzewelle mit knapp 40 Grad Berlin, auch am kommenden Wochenende drohen wieder Temperaturen bei 30 Grad und drüber.
Tropennächte nehmen zu, besonders ältere und vulnerable Menschen sind gefährdet – 85 % der Hitzetoten sind über 65. Berlin braucht schnell konkrete Schutzpläne und sichtbare Veränderung:
mehr Grün, mehr Bäume, mehr Schatten. Der BaumEntscheid ruft deshalb zur Demo für Hitzeschutz auf – für Gesundheit und Klimavorsorge.
Die Demonstration ist bei der Polizei angemeldet. Erwartet werden 300 bis 600 Berlinerinnen und Berliner.
Treffpunkt ist am 20.07.2025, 14:00 Uhr auf dem Pariser Platz. Die Demonstration endet gegen 15:30 Uhr.🌳

🌳 Demonstration after record heatwave: – For Sunday (20 July, 2:00 p.m., Brandenburg Gate – Pariser Platz), BaumEntscheid @baumentscheid together with 20 other organisations is calling for a heatwave demonstration.
In recent weeks, Berlin has been hit by a heatwave with temperatures reaching almost 40 degrees Celsius, and temperatures of 30 degrees and above are expected again this coming weekend.
Tropical nights are on the rise, and older and vulnerable people are particularly at risk – 85% of heat-related deaths are among people over 65. Berlin urgently needs concrete protection plans and visible change:
more greenery, more trees, more shade. BaumEntscheid is therefore calling for a demonstration for heat protection – for health and climate protection.
The demonstration has been registered with the police. Between 300 and 600 Berliners are expected to attend.
The meeting point is at 2 p.m. on 20 July 2025 at Pariser Platz. The demonstration will end at around 3:30 p.m.🌳
